PAUT Flaw Detection is an advanced ultrasonic NDT technique which employs multiple ultrasonic piezoelectric crystals for generating and receiving ultrasound with the help of software fed data input. PAUT has ability of beam sweeping and beam steering at different angles by software calculated time delays. It enables the operator to view different scan modes simultaneously like A-scan, B-scan, C-scan and S-scan presentation to better visualize and size the discontinuities with increased probability of detection.

This is much faster inspection technique as compared to conventional ultrasonic flaw detection and also gives a permanent record of the scan data in soft form.

PAUT flaw detection finds its application in construction, manufacturing and inservice plants include inspection of welds, piping systems, pressure vessels, storage tanks and much more.
